Description

About our client

Our client is a residential property developer based in North London. Unlike a managing agent, they hold the assets directly, and their in-house facilities teams look after the physical upkeep of buildings, which frees this role up to focus on the people side of property management.

The role

They're looking for a property manager to join their team where the portfolio is mostly residential with some mixed use, including a number of higher-risk buildings. You'll be the main point of contact for resident association directors and leaseholders, taking ownership of compliance, LPE1s, and enforcement matters rather than day-to-day site works.

What you'll be doing

  • Building and maintaining relationships with resident association directors and leaseholders across a mixed portfolio
  • Reviewing and signing off LPE1 forms and solicitor enquiries
  • Overseeing compliance and life safety obligations across sites, including higher-risk buildings
  • Leading on enforcement matters and escalated disputes
  • Supporting service charge budgets, accounts and expenditure alongside the finance team
  • Supporting the mobilisation of new schemes

Skills and experience

  • Experience as a Property Manager or in a similar residential/mixed-use role
  • Strong understanding of higher-risk buildings and building safety obligations
  • TPI Level 3 Associate (ATPI), or working towards
  • Strong knowledge of service charge budgets and leasehold legislation
  • Full driver's license and access to own transport

Desirable:

  • TPI Level 4 (MTPI), or working towards
  • Experience managing developments with district heating systems
  • Knowledge of Right to Manage processes

Why join them

An above-market salary of £60,000, a hybrid working pattern, and a genuinely relationship-focused role where you're not managing the physical side of the buildings. You'd be joining an established in-house team with clear reporting lines and support.
