About our client
Our client runs flexible workspace centres, giving businesses somewhere professional and well run to base themselves. They are ambitious, commercially minded, and serious about service quality across every site. This role covers centres in and around Oxford.
The role
As General Manager you take full ownership of your territory. That means exceeding budget month on month, growing revenue from the centres you look after, and making sure customers get a consistently excellent experience. You will lead and develop your team, manage supplier and repair costs, and keep health and safety standards tight. It is a real blend of commercial leadership and hands-on operations, and the results are yours to own.
What you'll be doing
- Owning the P&L for your territory and beating budget every month
- Driving revenue and occupancy through existing services and new opportunities
- Building relationships with corporate customers, brokers, and local contacts
- Leading, coaching, and developing your on-site team
- Managing suppliers and repairs to control cost, speed, and quality
- Keeping every centre compliant on health, safety, and service standards
Skills and experience
Essential:
- Proven experience managing a P&L in a customer-facing, multi-site business
- A track record of driving revenue and commercial growth
- Strong people management and coaching experience
- Confident communicator, influence, and negotiator
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office 365
- Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths
Desirable:
- Experience in a serviced or flexible office environment
- Experience of planning and forecasting
- An entrepreneurial, data-driven mindset
