Description

Our client is looking for a proactive and customer-focused Property Manager to join an expanding Rent to Buy portfolio, supporting residents on their journey from renting to owning their own home. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a purpose-driven organisation where you'll have real impact on people's lives every day.

You'll take ownership of a portfolio of homes in Manchester, ensuring properties are well managed, residents receive an exceptional service, and communities thrive. From lettings and tenancy management to repairs, resident engagement and income collection, you'll play a key role in delivering a first-class customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of Rent to Buy properties from move-in through to tenancy completion.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for residents, delivering an outstanding customer experience.
  • Overseeing lettings, tenancy sustainment, housing management and void turnaround activities.
  • Managing rent accounts and supporting effective arrears recovery.
  • Handling anti-social behaviour cases and tenancy-related issues.
  • Coordinating reactive repairs and maintenance works to ensure homes are maintained to a high standard.
  • Monitoring risks within your portfolio, including property compliance and scheme performance.
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams, contractors and external stakeholders.

Your Experience:

  • Experience in property management, housing management, lettings or tenancy services.
  • Strong knowledge of Assured Shorthold Tenancy (AST) legislation.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience managing competing priorities and delivering against targets.
  • Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
  • Competency using Microsoft Office applications.
  • A full clean UK driving licence.

Why Apply?
This is more than just a property management role. You'll be helping individuals and families achieve their long-term ambition of home ownership while ensuring they receive outstanding support throughout their tenancy journey.

If you're passionate about customer service, property management and making a positive difference, we'd love to hear from you.
