Description

Our client is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Property Manager to join the team at one of South London's most established residential communities.

Managing a portfolio of approximately 200 homes, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional resident experience while overseeing the day-to-day operation of a thriving mixed-tenure development. Working within a collaborative on-site team, you'll be trusted to take ownership of resident relationships, tenancy matters, maintenance coordination, compliance, and asset performance.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Property Manager from a PRS, residential, multifamily, or Build-to-Rent background looking to join a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of a residential portfolio of approximately 200 homes, ensuring an exceptional resident experience throughout the tenancy lifecycle.
  • Act as the main point of contact for residents, handling enquiries, tenancy matters, and property-related issues.
  • Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance works, working closely with contractors and maintenance teams to deliver high service standards.
  • Conduct property inspections, oversee minor works, and identify opportunities for asset improvement.
  • Manage tenancy administration including renewals, rent reviews, notices, arrears support, and resident communications.
  • Ensure compliance with property management legislation and health & safety requirements across the portfolio.
  • Prepare reports, support client meetings and budgets, and liaise with external stakeholders including local authorities, utility providers, and solicitors.
Your Experience:
  • Proven Property Management experience within PRS, Build-to-Rent, multifamily, or residential housing.
  • Strong understanding of tenancy management, property operations, and legislation including Section 8 and Section 13 processes.
  • Experience managing maintenance works, contractors, and resident escalations.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing a busy portfolio in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident problem-solver who can make informed decisions and challenge constructively when required.
  • MARLA qualified (or working towards qualification) would be advantageous.

What's On Offer?

  • Opportunity to join a large, well-established residential community
  • Varied and autonomous role with genuine responsibility
  • Supportive and collaborative on-site team environment
  • Exposure to a substantial residential portfolio
  • Monday to Friday working hours - 9:00am to 5:30pm
  • Excellent long-term career development opportunities
