Description

Our client is an established operator in the Build to Rent sector, managing a portfolio of residential sites and delivering a high-quality living experience for their residents. They take pride in the communities they create and the service they offer, and this role sits at the heart of that, based at their Gillingham, Kent site.

The role

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract supporting the Building Manager across the full range of day-to-day site operations. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm.

What you'll be doing

  • Handling enquiries from prospective tenants by phone and email, booking and conducting in-person viewings, and supporting the lettings and onboarding process
  • Using FixFlo to log and manage reactive maintenance requests, keeping residents updated and liaising with contractors to ensure works are completed on time
  • Supporting the leasing and contracts team with referencing, holding fees, move-in and move-out checklists, and Reposit eligibility checks
  • Conducting check-in and check-out inspections using Inventory Hive and feeding dilapidation findings back to the Building Manager
  • Assisting with tenancy renewals, end-of-tenancy works, and planned preventative maintenance coordination
  • Providing general cover for the residents' team and supporting community events as needed

Skills and experience

  • Experience managing competing priorities in a busy, customer-facing environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including drafting correspondence
  • Confident IT skills across Microsoft Office
  • A genuine interest in residential property and a willingness to learn
  • A customer-first mindset with a high standard of personal accountability

Desirable
