Senior Block Manager

A managing agent in Sussex is looking to appoint a Senior Property Manager to oversee a residential leasehold portfolio.

This role will involve managing a portfolio currently comprising approximately 300 to 400 units, with plans for the portfolio to grow to around 600 units.

Portfolio

• Residential leasehold developments across Sussex and the South Coast

• Current portfolio size of approximately 300 to 400 units

• Expected growth to around 600 units as new instructions are secured

• Exposure to high-rise buildings would be beneficial, though it is not essential

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of a residential leasehold portfolio

• Acting as the main point of contact for leaseholders and residents

• Managing site inspections and attending meetings where required

• Coordinating contractors and overseeing works on-site

• Managing service charge budgets and related financial processes

• Ensuring developments are managed in line with compliance and legislative requirements

Experience

• Previous experience managing a residential leasehold portfolio

• Comfortable managing multiple developments and handling day-to-day operational matters

• High-rise building experience would be advantageous but is not essential

• The role is suited to someone established in property management rather than someone at the start of their career
