Live-in Porter - Barnes / London - SW15

• Role - Live in Porter (With experience of internal and external cleaning and rubbish collection who will work alongside one other Porter)

• Hours - Normal working hours will be on a two-week rotational shift basis as follows:

(Week 1) Monday to Friday; 8am until 5 pm; and

You will receive a one hour unpaid lunch break.

(Week 2) Monday to Friday, 1pm until 8pm

You will receive a one hour unpaid lunch break.

Saturday 7am until 12pm. Sunday 7am until 10 am.

• Pay - £21,500K per annum

• Start date - ASAP

• Weekly Cleaning and Other duties.

1: Entrance Terrazzo to be swept and mopped daily and entrance doors cleaned and polished, Inside and Out. (Including intercom panel).

2:) Entrance Foyers to be vacuumed and dusted daily.

3:) Internal landings and Staircases vacuumed and dusted twice a week including Skirting, Landing Furniture and Top Floor Balustrade/Banister.

4:) Rear Staircases Thoroughly cleaned once a week with Hot Water and a suitable detergent. Heating boxes polished and railings cleaned.

5:) Rubbish Collection Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Recycling removed when bins are ¾ full.

Other Duties

• Check lights are working if not you are to replace the light bulbs.
• The internal and External Light Timers need changing when light reducing hrs season arrives and vice versa.
• During the Autumn/winter months cleaning takes priority over the watering of the flower beds. If called upon by the Gardener or Head Porter watering will be done when asked during the warmer weather.
• Any other Duties may need to be undertaken when asked by the Head Porter.
