Our client manage an area where like-minded companies specialising in food manufacturing and distribution expand and prosper with the assurance of long-term leases.
They have taken a section of railway arches in Bermondsey, which has a long history of food production and wholesale, and worked with Network Rail and Southwark Council to transform the area back into an active manufacturing hub that supplies food to locations all over London and the UK.
Property and Grounds Maintenance
- Management of estate maintenance and repairs
- Identification of any defect of buildings, furniture, fittings and equipment - scheduling of works required
- Management of pest control and relationship with external pest control company
- Management of waste collection and relationship with external waste disposal provider
- Cleaning of communal areas - sweeping of yards, picking of litter and responsibility for the removal of all debris
General
- Noting, monitoring and reporting any defects or issues
- General maintenance and minor repair work
- Receipt and checking of goods and supplies
Security
- Management of contracted security guards while on site
- Opening and closing, unlocking, and locking of gates
- Checking damage / security every morning on arrival
- Monitoring and administering CCTV system. Ensuring that cameras are working and clear
Site Management
- Tenant liaison - first point of contact for tenants regarding site matters
- Completion of site diary
- Completion of empty arch inspection
- On-site management of antisocial behaviour of tenants or visitors
