JOB TITLE : Caretaker
LOCATION : Tooting, London SW17
HOURS : 8am to 5pm (monday to friday)
SALARY : Up to £27.500 Depending on experience
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Caretaker should be courteous and helpful to residents and their guest/visitors at all times while maintaining efficient security of the building. A clean and smart appearance is required at all times.
1. You are to assist residents, guests and visitors when required.
2. Log and report any incidents of disrepair immediately to the Managing Agent, including all building defects, plumbing, heating and lighting defects during normal working hours. Where such defects are considered an emergency they should be reported immediately to the Emergency Contractor day or night.
3. Carry out any maintenance work such as minor repairs, gardening, painting and changing light bulbs.
4. To deal with general enquiries, in person, by phone and email.
5. Ensure that the common parts of the building are kept clear of obstructions at all times.
