Temporary Porter

PMR are currently looking to expand their pool of temporary Porters to join the agency, covering temporary assignments on a flexible basis.

We are ideally looking for candidates with existing experience as a residential porter.

Assignments will mostly be short term, covering holiday and sickness cover predominantly, across the PMR client portfolio. We can offer work within all areas of London and surrounding, and can accommodate various working patterns, hours and other preferences.

Rates vary from £12.71 - £14.80ph and candidates will be set up on a PAYE contract with the agency, which will also offer accrued holiday payment.

Duties:

• Welcoming residents and visitors into the building in a polite and friendly manner.
• Provide a presence in the building and in the main reception area.
• Report issues and deal effectively with complaints.
• Dealing with all residents requests and complaints efficiently.
• Must keep the front desk area clean and tidy.
• Sweep walkways; keep footpaths clean of leaves and rubbish.
• Litter picking throughout grounds as necessary and rubbish/recycling removal.
• Ensure the communal areas are always kept clean and tidy.
• Maintaining a log book of current and past contractors and on site visitors.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role within residential property or hospitality.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanour.
• Basic IT literacy for using logbooks, emails, and reporting systems.
• Knowledge of building operations and health & safety practices.
