Cleaning Manager - Luxury Residential Development

PMR provides professional on-site staff to luxury residential apartment blocks across the UK. Our client is currently seeking an experienced Cleaning Manager/ Supervisor to oversee a team of Cleaners at a brand new residential development in Kent. 

Salary: £24,000 to £25,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) 

Duties: 

• Follow client/company guidelines with regards to the identification and reporting of health and safety hazards e.g., blocked/locked fire doors.
• Report immediately any accidents/ interventions. 
• Manage a small team of 3-4 Cleaning staff, monitoring work practises closely. 
• Complete regular H&S Audits. 
• Assist with general cleaning duties when required to support team members. 
• Ensure the team are wearing appropriate PPE to complete tasks safely.
• Ordering of PPE equipment/ supplies.  
• To ensure all team members co-operate and conduct themselves in the correct manner to deliver excellent customer service to residents. 
• Timekeeping and monitoring of staff attendance on site. 
• Comply with all Company & Client policies and statutory regulations relating to Health & Safety, safe working practices hygiene, cleanliness, COVID19, first aid, fire and COSHH.

Skills required:

• Knowledge of COSH and fire safety 
• 2-3 years minimum experience working in a Supervisor/ Managerial position 
• Previous experience working in residential or a similar background is preferred
