Description

We are currently recruiting for a part time Day Concierge to work on a luxury apartment block in East London.

Hours: 3 days per week, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays - (7am to 7pm)

Rate: £11.05 per hour (£20,685 pa)

Responsibilities:

  • To be a main point of contact, handling day -to-day matters in a prompt and professional manner. Occasional, decision-making and-problem solving in the absence of supervision is required.
  • To patrol the site twice per shift for day shift and night shift at different times.
  • To conduct the required health and safety inspections and activities:
  • Day concierge to do fire alarm test and lift emergency button test on weekly basis.
  • To take parcels, record them and store them in the back office in the right place where it's easy to find for team members, also send messages to residents to make sure they are collected soon. Every resident must sign when collecting to avoid any false claim, no one should be logging in parcels except concierge on duty.
  • Keys must be signed in/out using the key log folder, also recorded in the handover as a backup.
  • Contractors must sign in/out, they must also obtain a temporary permit if parking on site.
  • Monitor the Parking on site
  • Develop and maintain constructive working relationships with team members, onsite staff, residents and guests , working collaboratively to achieve overall business outcomes.
  • Take personal responsibility for understanding and following the company's Health & Safety policies and practices , demonstrating personal engagement with safety and proactively identifying risks and hazards (to Head Concierge or Property Manager) to continuously improve safety performance.
  • Not to allow anyone to distribute advertising leaflet or general letters , they can be left with the concierge who will sort them out. Other general letters from energy or water companies will have to be distributed by the person sent from the company.
  • Bulk collection booked by residents to be left in TFC 1 second bin room.
  • Over weekends, the concierge on duty will pick up litter or clean any big mess that can't be left till Monday when estate operatives are in.
  • To read all emails upon the return from days off, also to leave handover (typed & saved) to the next shift on last day of work.
