Our client is looking for an experienced Caretaker/Cleaner to work at a residential building based in Sittingbourne, Kent ME10.
The hours required will be 1 hour per day, 5 hours per week. We are completely flexible on the hour needing attendance.
The salary is £3,200-£4,000pa (equivalent to £12.31-£15.38ph), depending on experience.
WORK /DUTIES -
RUBBISH BINS AND AREA.
1. To keep the bins in correct position in the area (as they are often blown about, not replaced properly by dustmen and tenants)
2. To advise the Property Manager if the dustmen do not collect the rubbish.
3. Collecting any loose rubbish around the building and placing this in the large rubbish bins.
4. To keep the area surrounding the bins clear and swept.
5. To clear up rubbish and broken glass, that falls from bags that have not been tied up (this can be found on a regular basis and contain amongst other items dirty nappies, used condoms empty food containers and many others).
OUTSIDE AREAS (GARAGES SHEDS AND FRONT OF FLATS)
1. To keep the areas swept and tidy every day, picking up all the mess thrown down by tenants on a daily basis.
2. To clear up rubbish blown into areas by the wind from the bins after a windy night (regular occurrence)
3. To pick up any dog mess, which occurs on a regular basis.
4. To collect the empty bottle, cans, food containersfound around the outside of the building.
5. To collect all the cigarette ends thrown out when drivers empty their ash trays from their parked cars. Other rubbish is also thrown out from time to time into the car parking area.
PUBLIC AREAS
1. Washing the floors, wiping down the metal work, doors and windows, hoover the carpets.
2. To look after the hoover and see it is charged-up regularly.
