About the Role
The Community Manager is the welcoming face that every member and guest will see on their arrival to the space and ensures every person entering the building has the best experience possible. They know our members best and create valuable relationships.
Job Accountabilities
Greeting / Point of Contact
- Ensure every person is greeted hospitably and a high customer service level is maintained
- Ensure that all community focused news is current and live on appropriate platforms
- Answer "walk-up" member and guest questions
- Ensure any emails are responded to within 24 hours
Member Management
- Lead community initiatives like member social events
- Lead on member onboarding and collect accurate information
- Manage member post and deliveries
- Keep the members portal and members channel (slack) updated and continually add to its offering
- Ensure membership billing and additional costs is correctly recorded and billed
- Collate photos and content for social media to promote the community feel
Building Operations and Management
- Identify maintenance issues and work with the facilities company to resolve
- Help prepare reporting for the Operations Manager
- Support in any research tasks required
Event Management
- Diary management for external bookings in the event space, ensuring the correct booking procedure is followed and accurate and ample information is collated
- Create artwork and ensure literature for event is accurate and live
Membership Sales
- Build good relationships with brokers
- Manage and respond to membership enquiries
- Conduct sales tours
- Follow up and close membership sales
- Maintain memberships to reduce churn
- Identify new potential revenue streams, incentives and opportunities
Experience and Requirements
- Previous experience in a coworking / flexible office role required
- Customer service or hospitality experience
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Confident personality
