- Description
Our Client are looking for an experienced Night Concierge to join their team at a luxury residential estate based in South-East London.
Working 4 on 4 off, hours are 7pm - 7am.
Salary is £30,000 annually.
Duties:
- Provide superior customer service to residents and visitors, ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the development, and act as the onsite representative of managing agent
- Responsible for maintaining a secure, safe, professional and welcoming environment at all times, ensuring that the building reflects the premium standards expected by residents.
- Work closely with managing agent to ensure operational matters are logged, monitored and followed through effectively.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for residents, visitors and contractors
- Greeting all residents and guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Managing enquiries in person, by phone and by email in a timely and respectful way
- Handling complaints calmly and escalating appropriately to managing agent
- Supporting resident requests relating to access, deliveries, bookings and general building queries
- Maintaining a smart personal appearance and professional demeanour at all times
- Monitor CCTV and building access systems
- Manage access control including fobs, key tags and visitor entry
- Challenge unknown individuals politely and professionally where appropriate
- Conduct regular internal and external patrols of communal areas and car park
- Monitor fire alarm panels and report/escalate faults immediately
- Follow emergency procedures for fire, flood, power outage or security incidents
- Maintain accurate incident logs and ensure all events are recorded promptly
- Escalate urgent risks immediately to managing agent and emergency services where required
- Ensure the building remains secure during shift handovers
- Conduct daily visual inspections of all communal areas including lobby, corridors, gym, cinema room, rooftop terrace and car park
- Identify and log defects, wear and tear, cleaning issues or safety concerns promptly
- Escalate urgent maintenance issues immediately
- Monitor cleanliness standards and report where contractor performance falls below expectation
- Ensure communal areas are tidy, presentable and aligned with premium building standards
- Check lighting, signage and general condition during patrols
- Report damage or vandalism without delay
- Proactively suggest improvements where presentation standards can be enhanced
- Log all maintenance issues accurately using the building's management system (e.g. Dwellant)
- Track and follow up on outstanding maintenance requests where appropriate
- Facilitate contractor access to plant rooms, apartments and communal areas
- Verify contractor attendance and completion of works where possible
- Escalate delays or repeated non-attendance to managing agent
- Maintain clear written handovers between day and night concierge regarding ongoing works
- Ensure bins are presented for collection in accordance with the collection schedule
- Return bins promptly following collection
- Monitor bin areas for cleanliness and misuse
- Report missed collections immediately
- Ensure waste areas remain orderly and do not negatively impact resident experience
- Accurately log all maintenance issues, incidents and resident requests using the building management system
- Maintain clear and professional written shift handovers
- Record all contractor attendance and works status
- Ensure access control updates (fobs/key tags) are properly documented
- Maintain accurate parcel records and obtain signatures where required
- Escalate unresolved issues in a timely manner to managing agent
