About our client
Our client is a leading property consultancy with a well-established portfolio of residential and mixed-use developments across South London. They're known for leading with RICS and TPI best practice and for a genuinely proactive, client-first approach to leasehold management.
The role
As Block Manager, you'll be the day-to-day face of the business for your clients, freeholders, and leaseholders, taking full ownership of a well-established portfolio. This is a remote role, giving you flexibility to manage your portfolio and diary without a daily commute, backed by a supportive team and a clear path to build a long-term career in leasehold management.
What you'll be doing
- Carrying out regular property inspections and preparing clear, actionable site reports
- Keeping Health & Safety and risk assessment records up to date, acting promptly on findings
- Overseeing contractors and planned preventative maintenance, from day-to-day repairs to major works
- Preparing and agreeing annual service charge budgets with clients
- Chairing and supporting AGMs, EGMs, and resident committee meetings
- Running statutory Section 20 consultations and resolving lease queries and complaints
Skills and experience
Essential:
- Proven experience as a Block Manager or Property Manager, managing a residential or mixed-use portfolio
- Solid working knowledge of leasehold legislation, including the Landlord & Tenant Act, Section 20 consultation, and the Building Safety Act
- A full, clean UK driving licence, given the site-visit nature of the role
- Excellent organisation and communication skills, with a warm, customer-focused approach
Desirable:
- TPI or RICS qualified, or working towards, with a genuine commitment to ongoing professional development
Why join them
You'll get fully funded professional development, including recognised industry qualifications, plus a genuine step up to mentor an Assistant Property Manager as your portfolio grows, with a clear route into senior and regional roles. It's a collaborative, people-first culture that invests in your training and wellbeing.
