About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation, maintenance, compliance, and service delivery of an Estate in South West London. This is a site-based role requiring a proactive and hands-on individual who can ensure high standards of building performance, health and safety, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily facilities operations and building services.
- Oversee planned and reactive maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and statutory regulations.
- Manage contractors and service providers, monitoring performance and quality.
- Lead and support on-site operational teams.
- Assist with budget management and cost control.
- Maintain high standards across communal areas and shared facilities.
- Respond to occupier enquiries and resolve issues effectively.
- Support sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Relevant facilities management qualification (IWFM or equivalent desirable).
- Proven experience in facilities or property management.
- Strong understanding of building maintenance, compliance, and health & safety requirements.
- Experience managing contractors and service delivery.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Budget management experience desirable.
Desirable
- Experience managing complex multi-occupancy properties.
- Knowledge of facilities management systems and technology.
- Interest in sustainability and environmental best practice.
