A front-of-house role where no two days look the same, and the relationships you build with residents actually matter. If you're someone who takes real pride in delivering a great customer experience and wants to grow within the build-to-rent sector, this could be the one.
About our client
Our client is an established residential property business operating build-to-rent homes across the UK. Their sites are professionally managed, resident-focused, and run to a high standard. They take pride in the communities they create and the service they deliver day to day.
The role
Based at their Bristol site, they're looking for a Resident Services Associate to join the front-of-house team. Reporting to the Resident Services Manager, this is an entry-level position suited to someone early in their property or customer service career who's ready to take ownership of the resident experience on site.
What you'll be doing
- Meeting and greeting residents, handling enquiries, managing parcels, and carrying out building inspections
- Supporting the lettings process from offer acceptance through to move-in, including viewings and property checks
- Coordinating contractor and maintenance bookings, raising works orders, and scheduling jobs
- Managing resident bookings for amenity spaces and supporting the smooth running of resident events
- Handling day-to-day complaints and escalating where needed, always working toward a positive resolution
- Preparing shift handover documents, supporting reporting, and keeping resident handbook content up to date
Skills and experience
Essential
- Experience in build-to-rent, purpose-built student accommodation, lettings, property administration, or a similar customer-facing property role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident dealing with residents and contractors in person, by phone, and in writing
- A professional, well-presented manner with a genuine passion for customer service
Desirable
- Experience with residential events or community engagement
- Awareness of health and safety requirements in a residential or commercial setting
- A qualification in property or customer service
