Our client is a managing agent with a solid block management operation across the south coast. They're a close-knit team and the kind of business where good communication and reliability actually matter, because they shape how the whole portfolio runs day to day.
The role
They're looking for a block manager to support the team across a portfolio of residential sites. It's a varied role covering stock management, leaseholder and contractor liaison, and day-to-day site operations. No high-rise, just solid residential block management in a team where you'll get proper support and room to grow.
What you'll be doing
- Running a residential portfolio across multiple sites
- Acting as a key contact for leaseholders, clients, and contractors, handling queries professionally and promptly
- Site inspections, and contractor performance monitoring
- Preparing service charge documentation and correspondence
- Coordinating maintenance activity and following up on outstanding works
- Attending site visits and client meetings as required
Skills and experience
Essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, genuinely comfortable managing relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Well-organised and reliable, able to juggle a varied workload across multiple sites
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel between sites
Desirable
- Some experience in residential property management or a related role
- ATPI qualification, or working towards it
