- Description
If you're a senior property manager with HRB experience who takes pride in the detail and can hold their own in front of a demanding, high-profile client base, this is worth reading. Our client manages a small number of prestigious residential developments and needs someone who brings real rigour to the role, not just familiarity with the process.
About our client
Our client is an established residential block management business with a strong reputation for compliance and service quality. They manage leasehold portfolios across a range of client types and are trusted by some of the UK's most prominent residential developers to deliver a consistently professional service.
The role
Based in Hertfordshire, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of three residential developments, two of which are managed on behalf of a major client. This is a senior, client-facing role where attention to detail genuinely matters.
What you'll be doing
- Managing a portfolio of three residential developments end-to-end, including service charge budgeting, year-end accounts, and major works programmes
- Representing our client directly in front of a high-profile developer client, maintaining a professional and polished presence at all times
- Overseeing compliance across health and safety, insurance, and statutory obligations, including Section 20 consultation processes
- Conducting regular site visits and issuing detailed written reports within agreed timeframes
- Managing contractors and service contracts, reviewing performance at the budget preparation stage
- Working closely with internal support teams across credit control, legal, and project management
Skills and experience
Essential
- Solid experience in residential block/leasehold property management at a senior level
- HRB (Higher-Risk Building) experience, this is a strict requirement and applications without it won't be progressed
- Strong working knowledge of service charge legislation, lease interpretation, and Section 20 processes
- Meticulous attention to detail, the client will ask detailed questions and you'll need to know your portfolio inside out
- Confident and professional in direct client-facing situations
- Up to date with relevant legislation and the TPI code of conduct
- Valid UK driving licence
Desirable
- MTPI qualified or working towards it
- Experience with AGM/EGM processes and residents' meetings
Why join them
A salary of up to £50,000 is on offer, with flexibility for MTPI-qualified candidates. You'll be joining a structured, well-resourced business with dedicated support functions across legal, finance, and compliance, so you can focus on managing your portfolio rather than chasing your tail on admin.
