Our client is a well-established block and estate management business operating across the northern home counties. They have a growing portfolio of predominantly RMC-led sites, they've built a strong reputation for service quality and staff retention.
The role
They're looking for a Senior Property Manager to join the team. You'll manage a portfolio of key sites, and you'll also play an active part in supporting and mentoring junior colleagues.
What you'll be doing
- Managing a portfolio of complex leasehold sites, handling maintenance, H&S compliance, service charge budgeting, and long-term maintenance planning
- Conducting regular site inspections and managing contractors to ensure work is carried out on time and to the right standard
- Supporting junior team members on day-to-day matters and more complicated management issues, sharing knowledge and helping de-escalate where needed
- Leading and attending client meetings and AGMs, including occasional out-of-hours work
- Working with the wider team on Section 20 works and technically complex maintenance matters
- Keeping sites fully compliant with relevant legislation and ensuring remedial actions from inspections are progressed promptly
Skills and experience
Essential
- Solid block and estate management experience
- Working knowledge of leasehold legislation and practical experience applying it
- ATPI qualification (or actively working towards it)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong communication skills across all levels, from residents to contractors to client boards
Desirable
- MTPI qualification or progression towards it
- Experience managing or mentoring a team
