Role Overview

The Temporary Post Room Operative supports residential buildings by managing all incoming and outgoing parcels. The role ensures secure handling, accurate logging, and efficient distribution of deliveries while providing excellent customer service to residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, scan, and log parcels and mail using building parcel management systems.

• Sort, label, and store parcels safely in organised post room areas.

• Notify residents of deliveries and assist with secure parcel collection.

• Maintain a clean, orderly, and secure post room environment.

• Liaise with couriers, concierge teams, and building staff to ensure smooth delivery operations.

• Track uncollected packages and support reporting as required.

• Follow building security and data protection procedures at all times.

Skills & Experience

• Experience in parcel handling, post room operations, concierge, or logistics.

• Strong organisation, accuracy, and attention to detail.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Able to work in fast-paced environments with high parcel volumes.
