Our client is currently seeking an experienced Day Concierge to work on a high end residential apartment block in Central London. This is a high calibre development where the focus will be on resident satisfaction, candidates will be expected to have worked in 5* hotels or high end apartments previously. We will be looking for an immaculately presented candidate with impeccible customer service skills.
This is a Day position, however candidates must be flexible and willing to cover Nights when required to cover the team's annual leave.
Hours: Pitman rota. works 2 consecutive shifts, followed by 2 days off duty, works 3 consecutive shifts, followed by 2 days off duty, works 2 consecutive shifts, followed by 3 days off duty.
Salary: £28,000 - £29,000 p/a
Duties:
- Consistently provide a sincere, courteous, bespoke and prompt interaction (in person, through telephony, and via applicable media channels).
- Partake in Front of House operations, ensuring the safety/security of the building, following standard operating procedures, and surpassing the expectations of all stakeholders.
- Maintaining continuous awareness of cultural, demographic and social differences which may be needed to meet individual requests and responsibilities.
- Anticipating stakeholder needs, including asking questions to better understand preferences - reading non-verbal communication cues, and acting on them whenever possible.
- Continuously following up on requests and reporting back; ensuring that stakeholder requests are processed, and expectations are always met, and when possible, surpassed.
- Establishing relationships with local attractions, restaurants and 3rd party service providers; in anticipation of adding value and enhancing resident experiences.
- Instructing new starters - taking part in the induction process, ensuring that all concerns are communicated to the Operations Manager.
- Managing and maintaining a log of all post/packages/deliveries/collections to and from the building, communicating movement of relevant items to residents and management
- Carrying out regular internal/external inspections and security checks; ensuring that all details are logged and reported to the relevant parties.
- Perform a bi-hourly Thermal & Fitness Suite inspection/duties program consisting of; pool PH testing, leisure area/equipment contamination check, temperature and H&S checks.
- Recognise/respond appropriately to any situation which has the potential to jeopardise the safety, security and well-being of the organisation and all its stakeholders.
- Monitor and regulate all access to the property, administering/controlling right of entry for all suppliers, contractors and visitors.
- In the event of a genuine emergency and in the absence of the Senior Managers, take up the responsibility of Emergency Controller, as stipulated in the Emergency Plan.
- To ensure that all keys/fobs/cards leaving the control area are appropriately administrated and returned at end-of-shift.
Candidates MUST have previous experience working in either residential or working in 4-5* hotels.
