Live in Caretaker

Our Client is looking for a live in caretaker at a site in North West London.

The hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday - 1 hour lunch. Saturday 8am to 10am.

Salary £20k per annum + accommodation and utility bills paid.

There are four storeys over two blocks and refuse is collected daily from flat to flat.

Duties include:

• Daily cleaning schedule.
• Generally supervise the property and deal with residents minor complaints.
• Collect and bag up all household refuse from the back doors of all 57 flats every morning (except Sundays). Neatly stack the bags in the wheeled bins in the north front passage.
• Ensure only tenants park in the drive and that it is kept clear for through traffic. Keep a record of car Reg plates and who they belong to - if cars are there for more than 3 days unmoved asked them to be removed. Tradesmen are only allowed in the drive whilst actually loading/unloading.
• Patrol common parts and grounds with the patrol checklist. Check security of the back and front doors.
• Clear autumn leaves and snow from all paths and driveway and salt paths as necessary to avoid residents and visitors slipping.
• Assist residents where possible during hours of duty in carrying luggage and parcels. Receive packages for residents when delivered during hours of duty.
• Deliver parcels left at the Caretakers flat to respective resident or inform residents for collection.

• Check the residents do not expose washing, clothes or domestic linen on the balconies or windows in the back or front. Do not permit mats or mops to be shaken out of windows. Do not permit bread or anything else to be thrown out of windows.
• Ensure that children do not play ball in the common parts or gardens.

• Request and resident causing a noise or disturbance to be quiet.
