Cleaner

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Cleaner to work on a luxury residential development based in South East London. The purpose of the Estate Cleaner is to service the development, its guests and visitors by ensuring the development is maintained and presented to a high standard, in accordance with health and safety requirements.

Hours: Monday - Thursday (7am to 12pm), Fridays (7am to 3pm) and Saturdays (7am to 1pm)

Salary: £25,000 pa

The Role:

• To be responsible for regular cleaning of the development, which may involve the outer grounds as well as the internal common areas, as prescribed by the supervisor or manager, tending to issues upon request, reporting any defects as required.
• Wipe all surfaces (inc walls, communal doors, glass, skirtings, handrails)
• Vacuum all surfaces and conduct litter-pick, remove junk mail
• Clean lifts (floors, inside mirrors, thresholds, external and internal metal work, buttons, call panel) dust bannisters, skirtings, tops of apartment number light fittings, remove any cobwebs and insects from the ceilings etc.
• Clean fire escape route stairwell (vacuum, dust wipe surfaces, bannisters, stair trads)
• Clean windows of communal entrance door, door entry panel, exit buttons.
• To carry out security inspections and operations as required.
• To be responsible for quality customer service for residents and guests whilst carrying out work, and strive for continuous improvement.
• To conduct the required health and safety inspections and activities to assist in keeping the development and workplace a safe environment for all.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Cleaner in a similar working environment
• Capable of working to a high standard
• A 'can-do' attitude
• Pro-active in nature and approach
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures
