Community Manager - Flexible Workspace and Coworking

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 plus bonus

Location: Birmingham

Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm

Position Overview:

As the Community Manager, you wou will be responsible for the ongoing operation of the building, ensuring that it is a productive, inspiring, and collaborative environment in which to work. In this fast-paced and varied role, you will need to have a positive attitude, an eye for detail, a passion for nurturing relationships, and a drive to support the members.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring operational excellence by promptly addressing building and member issues while maintaining high standards and implementing policies effectively.
  • Serving as the front desk manager during business hours and being the on-site contact for members.
  • Developing community initiatives to foster connections among members and utilizing their feedback to enhance our client's space and community.
  • Managing a team member and delegating tasks for site operations.
  • Maintaining occupancy through sales efforts, conducting tours for prospective members, retaining existing members, and building relationships within the community and beyond.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience within flexible office / serviced office / coworking management or similar customer and building management experience
  • Experience in building communities.
  • Previous sales experience with a proven track record of prospecting and closing deals.
  • A keen interest in entrepreneurship and business growth and development.
  • Outstanding communication and listening skills and should be able to help with marketing content and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies.
  • Experience in social media, PR, and promotional events
  • Previous experience in managing a team.
  • Natural connector and enabler.
  • Highly motivated individual who is happy to work in a distributed team.
