Job Overview: As a Senior Block Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of 8 sites, ensuring the efficient and effective management of residential and commercial properties. You will play a crucial role in maintaining positive relationships with property owners, residents, and service providers. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the growth and success of our property management division.
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Management:
- Oversee and manage a portfolio of 8 residential and commercial properties.
- Implement effective property management strategies to enhance property values and resident satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Client and Stakeholder Relations:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with property owners, residents, and homeowner associations.
- Address and resolve client concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for each property within the portfolio.
- Monitor financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial goals are met.
- Oversee invoicing, collections, and financial reporting.
Maintenance and Repairs:
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure timely response to maintenance requests and oversee contractors/vendors.
- Conduct regular property inspections to assess maintenance needs.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with the properties.
- Implement and enforce health and safety protocols.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Block Manager or similar role in property management.
- Strong understanding of property laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial reporting.
- Professional certifications in property management are desirable.
