  • Post and monitor service charge income and expenditure, making sure invoicing and recovery are on time
  • Reconcile supplier invoices and process creditor payments
  • Investigate and resolve differences between budgeted and actual spend
  • Act as the go-to contact for property managers, clients, contractors and suppliers on charges and queries
  • Keep accurate records and supporting documents to audit standard
  • Support audit preparation and respond to auditor queries
  • Help improve processes to strengthen financial controls and efficiency

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience in service charge accounting or property management finance
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles, reconciliations and budgeting
  • Confident with accounting software and Excel, and able to produce clear financial reports
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable with internal teams, clients and suppliers
  • Well organised, able to manage multiple accounts and deadlines

Desirable

  • AAT, or part-qualified or qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA
  • Experience with property management or service charge systems

The environment
