Head Porter, Luxury Residential - Battersea, SW11

Our client is seeking an experienced Head Porter to join their team, based in a high end residential building based in Battersea.

This opportunity can either be live-in (£28,000 per annum ) + 1 bed flat or it can be live-out (£40,000 per annum ) our client is open to either option.

General:

The Head Porter has overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the building at an operational level: This includes maintenance and repairs and services to the residents.

• The day-to-day supervision of any staff, handyman, cleaners, and any other contract staff that may be on site.

• The standard of cleaning, gardening etc., and liaison with staff, contractors and managing agents, as appropriate and for attending to any problems.

• Ensuring, that the CCTV is regularly observed so as to provide the highest level of security and service to the residents.

• Dealing with resident's general problems and dealing appropriately with them. Major complaints are to be reported to the Managing Agents at the earliest opportunity.

• Directing, supervising and regulating the conduct, time keeping and efficiency of the other members of staff.

• Supervising routine maintenance of all communal plant and machinery and ensuring that the maintenance contractors fulfil their contractual obligations in terms of frequency of visits, response times etc.

• Instruct contractors, where appropriate, to deal with problems such as non-functioning of lifts and other plant and notifying the Managing Agent of any action as appropriate or request their assistance.

Essential Experience:

You must have at least 3-5 years experience within a Senior Concierge or Head Porter position
Management experience
Excellent customer service skills
Experience within residential
