The Role
As an Assistant Block Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and management of residential properties in the Hampshire area. Your responsibilities will include:
Customer Service Excellence: Provide outstanding customer service to property owners and residents, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, enhancing their living experience.
Leasehold Knowledge: Utilize your solid understanding of leasehold regulations and processes to support the Block Manager in handling lease agreements, resolving disputes, and ensuring compliance.
Inbound Enquries Management: Efficiently manage a high volume of inbound enquiries via various communication channels, demonstrating patience, clarity, and effectiveness in your responses.
Contractor Coordination: Collaborate with contractors and service providers to coordinate maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects, ensuring timely and quality execution.
Administrative Support: Assist in the preparation of reports, budgets, and financial documentation, maintaining accurate records of property-related activities.
The Person
The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
Leasehold Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in leasehold management, with a solid grasp of leasehold regulations, procedures, and industry best practices.
Customer-Centric Approach: Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage with property owners, residents, and stakeholders in a friendly, helpful, and professional manner.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively respond to inquiries, compose clear and concise messages, and maintain transparent correspondence.
Organisational Abilities: Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks, inquiries, and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
IRPM Qualification (Level 2): A Level 2 qualification from the Institute of Residential Property Management (IRPM) would be advantageous, demonstrating your commitment to continuous professional development.
