- Description
Working in a small team you will have direct responsibility for a portfolio of developments where you will be responsible for carrying out service charge budgets, undertaking regular site inspections, dealing with a range of issues, liaising with residents and ensuring compliance to a range of legislation. We are looking for someone who has at least one years' relevant experience in block management and is looking to progress their career further.
The Role- Ensuring delivery of service concurs with quality assurance procedures, ARMA codes and good practice generally
- Undertake regular site inspections to identify repairs that are required and taking the appropriate action
- Preparation of service charge budgets
- Administer block insurance claims
- Liaising with the credit control department to ensure effective debt management of the portfolio
- Manage contractors used to carry out repairs and maintenance
- Preparing the relevant notices and managing the Section 20 consultation process
- Arranging health, safety and fire risk assessments and reviewing the report and taking all the necessary measures to ensure that all the statutory regulations are adhered to
- Handle applications for licence to alter and share transfers
- Liaise with lessees and RMC directors in a polite and efficient manner
- Attend Board, AGM/EGM and residents meetings, including evening meetings and take appropriate minutes
The Person- · Previous experience as a Block Manager essential
- · Highly organised, able to take instruction and also work on your own initiative

- · Able to maintain a professional manner
- · Be confident, accountable and responsible for your portfolio
The Package
- £38,000-£45,000
- IRPM qualification support and ongoing membership payments
