We are seeking an Assistant Service Charge Accountant to join our team based in Tottenham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a challenging role within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
The Role
As an Assistant Service Charge Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting the Service Charge Lead Accountant in a variety of tasks, including:
* Management accounts and month-end duties
* Budgeting and forecasting
* Service charge reconciliations
* Ground rent reconciliations
* Managing queries from both internal and external stakeholders
* Reconciliations and journal postings
* Month-end reporting and analysis
* Bank reconciliations
* Purchase ledger duties
The Person
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
* AAT or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA
* At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
The Package
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £35,000 per annum, along with a 4 and a half day working week.
