Our client is currently seeking an experienced concierge to work at a Luxury Residential Building in East London.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm
We are looking for a reliable, professional person with over 3 years experience within a similar role.
Main duties:
- To ensure that all residents and visitors are welcomed in a professional and friendly manner and ensure the security of the building is maintained at all times.
- To answer the reception telephone and assist callers with correct information or take a message for the property manager to assist the caller.
- To deal with all face to face/email enquiries by residents and visitors, ensuring the information provided is accurate and escalated to the Property Manager as required.
- To sign for and process all parcels delivered for residents by the Royal Mail and couriers, ensuring the parcels are entered into the parcel book and signed out by residents.
- To provide residents with access to meter cupboards as required and group meter reading requests together to provide them on a weekly basis.
- To ensure the security of all assets of the building is maintained, including keys held at reception for residents, ensuring they are only signed out to persons authorised on the key cards or in response to specific resident requests.
- To take details of all new residents, enter them onto the register and send out the Building Guide to ensure all residents are aware of building policies.
- To provide email updates to residents signed off by the property managers and the Board.
- To monitor and reply to emails for reception and manage any queries or complaints in a timely manner.
- To track maintenance schedule for the building with property managers.
- To monitor CCTV on a daily basis and ensure no unauthorised persons enter the building. To report any security issues observed.
- To be SIA certified.
- To carry out regular comprehensive patrols of the building.Report/escalate any issues and note these in a duty book.
- To ensure the recycling and bin collections are scheduled and update residents of requirements to keep these areas tidy.
- To keep the reception area clean and tidy at all times, ensuring the work space is hazard free.
- Creating and maintaining administrative records for the development e.g. stop cock locations, electricity boards.
- To notify the property manager of stock requirements.
- To ensure contractors are signed in/ out of the visitors book and ensure all work is completed and that the building is left in suitable condition.
- To report/escalate issues to the property manager regarding maintenance of the building.
- To be proactive and fix or clean parts of the building which don't require contractors to be called out.
- To ensure all handovers to temporary or weekend staff is managed. Any absences are filled in with temp staff in advance.
- Any other reasonable task required of you by the property manager.
Requirements:
- SIA Licence is desirable.
- 2-3 years experience within Residential Concierge.
- Reliable and timekeeping.
- Immaculate presentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Experience in the highest level of customer service.
- Be able to demonstrate initiative.
The successful candidate must be able to provide excellent references and be willing to undergo full vetting checks.
