The primary goal of the Front of House position is to maintain a presence at the front desk, where you are able to assist everyone in the building, whether they are daily visitors or long-term tenants. Maintain a professional attitude while providing outstanding service and leaving a positive lasting impression on everyone.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that the property always upholds the highest standards of presentation. The front desk is kept neat, clean, and friendly in accordance with criteria
- At all times, personal appearance must meet the highest standards. A polite, professional, and helpful demeanour must always be shown
- To perform duties in accordance with directions from your line manager for reception services
- Develop a positive working connection with all of the property's employees, renters, and contractors, and serve as the primary point of contact for the building
- To quickly help and direct all site visitors to their appropriate location or contact inside the building
- To respond to all tenant inquiries politely over the phone and the on-site intercom system
- To sign for tenants' deliveries and record the delivery on the necessary paperwork
- To comply with and ensure that the landlord obligation for health and safety and fire precautions are always met
Skills and Experience
- Working knowledge of providing front-of-house services in a crowded setting where customers are present
- Officers must possess a current SIA Security Licence (training can be provided)
- The capacity to consistently provide excellent customer service
- The capacity to act independently and handle difficult circumstances
- Strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication abilities
- The desire to pursue more education and professional advancement
- Meticulous record-keeping with an eye for detail
