Business Centre Manager

Serviced Office. Coworking. Flexible Office. Business Centre. Community Manager.

Type: Permanent, Full time

Location: Central London, Liverpool Street

Salary: £52,000 to £55,000

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 9am to 5:30pm

Team: Managing a Receptionist, Senior Receptionist and Assistant Centre Manager

Our client are a large and incredibly successful Real Estate business. They are one of the leading providers of flexible offices in the UK. They are known for their design lead modern facilities, friendly staff, personable customer service and opportunities to progress within the company.

We are seeking a Centre Manager with lots of personality who can excel in being the friendly face of the business whilst running and efficient business centre. This is a very large site at more than 200,000sqft therefore, you must be a strong leader, have solid experience in managing business centres and ideally, have worked with multiple refurbisment projects.

Responsibilities and Candidate Experience Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a relevant industry/role where they can demonstrate sound operational experience with a customer centric attitude
  • Experience in managing large business centres with substantial rent rolls and service charge budgets
  • Be familiar with contributing to and managing P&L/Ops budgets
  • Attention to detail and the ability to create new operational procedures when applicable
  • Naturally organised person who enjoys building efficient processes and clear documentation
  • Good Stakeholder management - will need to be comfortable dealing with tenants on site, third party stakeholders/contractors and the senior management team
  • Be flexible/adaptable to the needs of the Building/community
  • Strong Management/Leadership qualities - be able to inspire and motivate on-site Receptionist
  • Feel comfortable thinking of ideas to improve the running of the site, and look to seek out areas of improving the experience of the tenants
  • Commercial acumen - recognise the importance of providing excellent service whilst also paying attention to the company's commercial objectives.
  • Building Management - Experience of dealing with H&S, Maintenance issues, service charge etc
  • Ideally have worked within coworking/serviced office/flexible office or commercial building management sector
