Our Client are actively looking for an experienced Day Porter to join their team at a luxury residential development based in South West London.
Working every Monday to Saturday, Monday to Friday hours are 7:30am - 5pm and Saturday hours are 7:30am - 12pm.
Salary is £23,000 annually.
Duties include but are not limited to:
To provide general supervision of the property and to deal with resident's complaints, referring such complaints to the managing agent
To keep all common areas clear of obstruction at all times and to notify the managing agent of any disputes connected with such obstructions.
To maintain at all times an incident/accident book in which should be noted all complaints from residents, to include wants of repair reported to the caretaker
To maintain a record/diary of dates and times of contractors' attendance to carry out work on behalf of the managing agent together with a brief description of such works
To maintain a record of all visits by meter readers and to keep a note and location of all meters serving the common areas in the building
To ensure all seasonal adjustments to time clocks, switches and governing lights in the common areas
To maintain a check and log on all contractors working within tenants' flats to ensure that no damage or nuisance is caused to the employer or to other residents in the building
Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday collect all rubbish from storage areas in basement and ensure available for collection by dustmen by 7am.
Front polish brass, wash steps and brush pathways daily including intercom to main entrance.
Polish door furniture on individual flats
Remove all junk mail daily
Dust hall, mirrors, pictures daily
Hoover all areas of common parts daily
Thoroughly clean lift interior including external/internal call and counter panel and all floors, polish mirror and surroundings.
Damp wipe/dust and clean all sills, ledges and skirting top to bottom daily.
Clean all fire extinguishers daily
Clean all common parts lighting at least once a day and change bulbs as and when required

To patrol the common parts and external areas at intervals whilst on duty to check security provisions
