The Company
Established over 40 years ago, our client is a leading private commercial and residential property investment and development business operating in central London. They acquire, develop, and actively manage real estate across the major submarkets of the West End, City, Midtown, and Southwark. They own over 30 buildings across these core markets and have ambitions to continue to grow the portfolio with their sights now set on the Flexible Office market.
The Opportunity
As part of their wider strategy, our client are venturing into the flexible office market. They are looking for someone to establish and take ownership of the day to day running of the new business centre in Southwark. You will be the face of the centre, personally welcoming tenants, and visitors, ensuring an outstanding experience throughout their time within the centre. You will have the full support of the business to ensure you have all the budget and tools necessary to guarantee the smooth and effective commercial and operational running of the centre.
The Role
You will be based in the new business centre, situated in the variant and popular district of Southwark, close to Borough Market and the Shard. In this role you will:
- Lead the operational management of the centre
- Take ownership of the day to day running of the business centre
- Provide excellent customer service and community management
- Build relationships and liaise with brokers to generate leads
- Take bookings
- Conduct tours of the office space
- Onboard new customers
- Organise networking events
- Manage building facilities alongside a great facilities and maintenance support team
This is a busy and varied role in which no two days are likely to be the same. This role which is centred around relationship management (tenants, visitors, brokers, colleagues, contractors etc) so you must be confident dealing with a variety of people.
