Our Client is looking for an experienced Estate Operative to join their team at a luxury residential development based in Croydon.
Working every Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday with the hours of 7am - 12pm (25 hours per week).
Salary: £13,130 annually
** FULL CLEAN UK DRIVER'S LICENSE is required to operate the gator required to move the bins. Driving license category BE or C1E is a requirement **
Duties include but are not limited to:
To ensure the refuse collections take place regularly by moving all bins as required to allow for council collection. Upon collection to return bins back to appropriate bin stores.
Carry out litter picking and sweeping of litter, detritus and other site material from the communal areas of the development, paying specific attention to the carparks and external estate areas, once a day.
Clean and jetwash bin storage areas regularly to ensure all bin stores in the estate are clean and presentable.
Any defects or damages within the communal areas are to be reported through management at the earliest opportunity so that a maintenance plan can be put in place to rectify the issues.
To carry out gritting to external estate paths and roads and car park ramps in icy/snowy conditions as directed by the Development Manager or Senior Property Manager.
To assist with watering of the plants if required by gardening contractors or Development Manager.
To take responsibility for the presentation, cleanliness and tidiness of the estate at all times. Specifically, to ensure building frontage, bin storage areas, cycle stores and car parks are kept clean and tidy.
Sort household refuse from recycling where possible.
Report any issues with overflowing bins, fly tipping and dumped rubbish/items through management.
To interact with residents in a courteous, professional and helpful manner.
Personal Hygiene and presentation, including uniform are to be maintained to the highest standards at all times. Staff must wear correct safety attire (Hi Vis Jacket, Safety Shoes, Gloves etc.).
To work in accordance with the Health & Safety Policy.
Assist the Development Manager and other team members with any overflow of tasks and in doing so ensuring a continued professional and efficient service.
To carry out other duties as might be reasonable expected or required by management.
To undertake any other duty as requested by your Line Manager/acting Line Manager.
