An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced General Manager to lead the operations of a large flagship site in Central London. This senior position sits within a global real estate organisation and will involve close interaction with senior stakeholders across the business.Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a large residential site, ensuring exceptional standards across all areas.
- Lead and develop a team of 10-15 staff members, fostering a positive and high-performing culture.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to attract and retain student tenants.
- Organise community events to enhance resident engagement and experience.
- Ensure outstanding customer service and deliver a premium resident experience.
- Work closely with health and safety and facilities management teams to maintain efficient building operations.
- Manage and adhere to P&Ls and budgets, ensuring financial performance targets are achieved.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven leadership experience, with strong communication and team-management skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety, facilities management, and the sales and leasing process.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large budgets and complex operational functions.
- Familiarity with rental legislation is advantageous.
Desired Background
- Experience in the student accommodation or build-to-rent sectors.
- Alternatively, a background in managing large hospitality properties will be highly regarded.
