Estate Assistant - London (Permanent, Full-Time)
We are looking for an Estate Assistant to join a well-established housing organisation in London. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining green spaces, and wants to provide a high-quality service to residents.
Working Hours:
Full-time, permanent position - 35 hours per week
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Tuesday: 6:00 am - 2:00 pmKey Responsibilities:
Carry out grounds maintenance and gardening tasks across communal outdoor areas
Maintain the cleanliness and safety of pathways, landscaped areas, and communal spaces
Operate landscaping machinery such as mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters, and blowers
Support waste management and litter picking duties
Assist with fire alarm testing and general estate upkeep
Ensure high standards of service when engaging with residents
Work collaboratively as part of a team and keep accurate records of work completed
Work outdoors all year round in a range of weather conditions
About You:
Experience in grounds maintenance, caretaking, or a similar role is desirable
Confident operating gardening or landscaping machinery
Reliable, proactive, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment
Able to work well both independently and as part of a team
