Our client is looking to hire a full time Day Concierge based in Fulham, SW6

PURPOSE OF POST: The Concierge is to act as custodian of the buildingand its curtilage. They are to foster good relations with the residents and ensure that the site is managed to a high standard alongside the on-site team.

Full details of the postion:

  • Location SW6 - closest station Imperial Wharf
  • 3 days on/ 3 days off (42 hrs per week) - 0800am-2000pm
  • Annual salary £28,278.46 - Salary will be increasing in January
  • Site consists of 233 apartments across 10 buildings
  • Joining a team of 9 people - Estate manager working on site
  • 5x company sick pay days on a rolling bases
  • Uplifted overtime rate of 1.5
  • Discretionary Christmas bonus

General Duties:

  • To take responsibility for the presentation, cleanliness and safety of all the public areas
  • To interact with residents in a courteous, professional and helpful manner at all times
  • To ensure that any breaches of security or damage is reported to the relevant authorities
  • To provide and maintain an up to date log book or register, be it paper or PC calendar based, to record all site issues as they arise but dealing specifically with the following:
  • Key holding and usage by contractors

  • A record of inspections and issues found on those inspection

  • Inspect development at regular intervals, checking all doors and external gates.

  • Report any faults to the access/fire/CCTV systems to the appropriate contractors and Managing Agent.

  • Report any health & safety, communal/building defect from inspections.

  • Ensure contact is made with local police and arrange site visits from the community support officer. On an ad hoc basis - check the access control systems for lost/stolen cards/fobs.

  • Report any damage to the building, or damage to residents' possessions in public areas to Managing Agent Head Office.
