Description

Our Client is currently looking for a Caretaker to join their team at a luxury residential development based in Uxbridge.

Working Monday to Friday with the hours of 8:30am - 4:30pm or 9am - 5pm.

Salary is £30,000 annually.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the cleaning and up-keep of the buildings and grounds area.
  • To conduct site walk rounds on a daily basis, all faults/maintenance and repairs reported to the Property Manager.
  • Investigate faults and issues that arise within the development, this can be from leaks to fire alarms.
  • Daily tasks will include dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying bins and vacuuming of communal areas.
  • Daily check of the WC facilities / stock to ensure adequate supplies onsite
  • Moving out the General waste and recycling skips for weekly collection
  • Testing of the fire safety systems
  • Report any maintenance issues that may arise to the property manager
  • Exceptional customer service experience, able to prioritise and manage various tasks simultaneously.
  • Ensure proper waste disposal and manage the cleanliness of the bin area.
  • Regularly clean and maintain estate grounds, and car parks, and perform annual jet washing as needed.
  • Ensure all main entry doors are closed and secure, taking necessary actions to address any issues.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the main entries of each block on a daily basis.
  • Ensure clear access for emergency service when on site.
  • Ensure all common parts of the site are frequently inspected and maintained to the highest standards of repair & cleanliness
  • Ensure the bin stores are kept clean, bins are proportionately distributed between sites, that rubbish efficiently and that missed collections are reported.
  • To report fly-tipping and facilitate removal.
  • Be prepared to perform any other reasonable duties, as requested by the property manager
  • Minimum of one years' experience in a caretaking position with maintenance duties
  • Good experience of Health and Safety regulations
  • Confident, polite and courteous communicator with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships, able to work on own initiative and have ability to multitask.
