Assistant Manager - Serviced Office
Salary: £30,000
Location: King's Cross, London
Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm OR 10:00am - 6:00pm
Our client manages, develops and provides real estate for all types of residential buildings, from Social Housing to City Apartments to Retirement Living. They are a sizable employer who takes pride in their workplace environment.
They are currently hiring for an Assistant Building Manager to help run their Head Office site, which acts as a Serviced Office. A high level of service is expected to help ensure their staff are happy, their facilities are well run, and their culture is as best as it can be.
Main Responsibilities:
- Help with front-of-house and receptionist tasks
- When receiving calls, answer them and either transfer the call to the proper department or take a message and follow up
- Accountable for the office meeting/desk rooms booking system's workspace onsite reservations
- Deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external clients as necessary
- To achieve a high level of client satisfaction, coordinate the building's administration of soft and front-of-house services.
- Line management of the front desk staff and cleaners, when necessary
- Assist in managing the budget, issue the required purchase orders, authorise invoices, and adhere to the proper processes within the established authorisation level
- Assist and plan to have fire wardens and coordinators for fire evacuations in place
- Assist in the creation of risk assessments and method statements, both of which are necessary for equipment usage in the workplace
