Area Facilities Manager - Commercial Office Space - London

Flexible Office. Coworking. Serviced Office.

Working Hours: 9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 plus up to 10% bonus

Location: London - with locations all across London, a portfolio of 6 to 8 centres will be decided based on the successful candidates location.

Our client is one of the leading providers of flexible offices in the UK. They are known for their design lead modern facilities, friendly staff, personable customer service and opportunities to progress within the company.

This is an exciting and expanding sector that attracts staff from areas such as flexible office, hotels and student accommodation due to its friendly service style and Monday to Friday working hours.

We are seeking an experienced Area Facilities Manager with lots of personality who can excel in being the friendly face of the business while ensuring the smooth running of the centre.

Objectives:

  • This a vital role to the business, ensuring highest standards of Facilities Management and customer service are upheld at all times. This includes efficiently coordinating planned and reactive maintenance
  • This role works closely with the Business Centre Management team to ensure the sites remain attractive to all existing and new members for the office space, whist achieving optimal operational efficiencies and cost effective solutions.
  • Deal with specialist contractors to ensure they deliver a top class service, on time and to budget
  • Take responsibility for fit outs and decoration of common areas, bathrooms etc.
  • Create and manage service charge budgets alongside the operational and asset teams

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure you are a reliable first point of contact for the Business Centre Management team, to deal with any and all building or FM related issues
  • Work closely with Business Centre Management team to on repair works, new site launch works, and License to Alter works
  • Conduct regular estate inspections, identify snagging issues, log correctly on CRM systems, track progress of works
  • Manage relationships with service providers and set costings, timelines and SLA's
  • Complete site inductions with service partners in relations to RAMS
  • Coordinate fire regulations and audits
  • Direct and plan services for security, maintenance, cleaning and waste disposal
  • Manage and maintain meter readings
  • Set objectives and manage performance of Maintenance Technicians
  • Manage costs and budgets for FM and maintenance
  • Manage the approval, PO's, and timely payment of FM related invoices
