Location: 8/9 Ship Street, Brighton

Salary: £25,000

Start Date: May 2021

PMR are working exclsuively with Projects to as we search for an exceptional Location Community Manager.

Projects is an award-winning business committed to a collaborative, holistic and sustainable offering of coworking and serviced office products to Brighton's freelance and small business community. They provide coworking memberships, dedicated desks, serviced offices and meeting and event spaces, Projects is devoted to supporting its community's growth through a range of events, resources and a network of valuable business connections.

This is an exciting time to join Projects as we expand, and the Location Manager will be an essential role within the team in assisting the Managing Director to navigate a climate post Covid and grow the suite of services and products on offer to our members, plus expand into an additional two buildings within Brighton and Hove.

There is a lot of room to develop your career in this stage of our growth, therefore your success and opportunities for development will be dependent upon the following key goals:

  • Maintaining a full seated membership
  • Development of a fully optimised sales and onboarding experience for new and potential members
  • Working with the Managing Director and Head of Communications to support a successful launch of the gym extension of our building and new build early 2022

Responsibilities

  • Sales and Membership Processes- Lead the development and implementation of membership engagement, systems and processes that enable Projects to achieve consistently full seated membership. Lead on developing, delivering, measuring, and reporting the membership engagement strategies
  • Member Connections- Nurturing relationships and collaboration between members. Delivering excellent customer service to prospective and current members. Ensuring a warm, welcoming environment to tenants, members and visitors
  • Operations- Operating the booking system. Responding to, and escalating member queries and maintenance issues. Upholding the high standards of the building, ensuring that the space is a safe environment to work in at all times, responsible for all aspects of health and safety
  • Team Development- Supervising the front of house team, conducting training, and acting as a mentor; offering feedback and development opportunities for team

As Projects develops so will the responsibilities of the Location Manager role. It is important to note that these key responsibilities may evolve and change over time as the business grows and gains presence. It is also important to note that you are part of a very small, lean team, where all our roles and responsibilities naturally adapt each day.

Requirements/Person Specification

  • Experience in hospitality, facilities management or property management desirable
  • Organised, motivated and personable with good leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and customer care skills
  • Proactive approach to problem solving
  • Capable of working with minimum supervision
  • Can do attitude
  • Ability to manage staff members
  • Working as a team player and the ability to help/train other staff members
