Part-time Caretaker

Our Client is looking for an experienced Caretaker to join their team at a luxury residential development based in East London.

Working Monday, Wednesday & Friday every week, with the hours of 9am to 5pm.

Salary is £15.00 per hour

Duties include but are not limited to:
- To undertake full cleaning duties of the communal areas 3 times per week as instructed, following the cleaning standards and COSH safely procedures
- Ensure all cleaning materials, tools, equipment and property of the development is correctly and securely stored to prevent loss or misuse
- Perform basic maintenance tasks including painting, door/window maintenance etc. in a timely manner
- Ensure all drainage and accessible guttering systems on the estate are regularly cleaned and in good operational order
- To communicate efficiently with all other members of staff, residents, guests and onsite contractors in a professional manner
- To ensure the communal lighting is correctly working and change defective light bulbs immediately
- Meet contractors visiting the site and answer questions to facilitate their duties
- Manage the cleaning and maintenance of the car park area as directed
- Report any security issues or breaches to Health and Safety immediately to the property manager
- Communicate regularly with the property management agents and stakeholders, occasionally attending ad-hoc meetings face-to-face or virtually to give updates
- To be responsible for all gardening duties and litter removal from indoor and outdoor communal areas
- To clean the accessible internal and external windows as instructed on a regular basis
- To be flexible and carry out any additional duties as directed, for example, meet delivery couriers and grant access to the core areas only
