Community Manager

Position Overview:

As the Community Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Operations. You will be responsible for the ongoing operation of the building, ensuring that it is a productive, inspiring, and collaborative environment in which to work. In this fast-paced and varied role, you will need to have a positive attitude, an eye for detail, a passion for nurturing relationships, and a drive to support the members.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth running of the building on a daily basis.
  • Accountable for site budgets and provide regular updates on community, occupancy, and financials.
  • The ability to liaise with partners, landlords, and onsite facilities teams productively.
  • Occupancy management; efficiently selling the space and retaining existing members in
  • line with sales targets to be reviewed monthly.
  • Facilities management; stock takes, ordering supplies, reporting maintenance issues.
  • Maintain the Health and Safety compliance of the building.
  • Act as the face and voice of the brand and manage all community communications.
  • Host calls with the Operations team revolving around the membership.
  • Line manage staff throughout their probation period and beyond.
  • Engagement with local businesses and communities to build relationships and offerings.
  • Organise and co-host community events for the members to attend.
  • Develop new systems and processes to improve the buildings.

  • £32,000 to £35,000 basic salary plus an excellent uncapped bonus scheme

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience within flexible office / serviced office / coworking management or similar customer and building management experience
  • Experience in building communities.
  • Previous sales experience with a proven track record of prospecting and closing deals.
  • A keen interest in entrepreneurship and business growth and development.
  • Outstanding communication and listening skills and should be able to help with marketing content and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies.
  • Experience in social media, PR, and promotional events
  • Previous experience in managing a team.
  • Natural connector and enabler
  • Highly motivated individual who is happy to work in a distributed team.
