Music Studio. Members Club. Coworking.
Our client our the world's first members' studio for content creators. They combine a meaningful community with the magic of a creative studio and the convenience of a coworking space.
Their curated community of musicians, producers, podcasters, youtubers, artists, photographers and creative entrepreneurs and businesses share a membership that celebrates diversity and inclusivity.
They have a thriving community of hundreds of professional creators and 40 studios across their first site; they now have their next two sites opening within the next 9 months
We are on the hunt for an incredibly ambitious and process-orientated Head of Operations to join their team. You will be responsible for laying the foundations of the operations strategy, delivering efficiencies, structure and processes to set up for scale.
This is a unique opportunity to work alongside an adventurous, passionate and fast-growing founding team and help to create a new category within the creative industries.

Responsibilities:
- Building Operations:
- Proactive Maintenance: Execute and manage PPM for all sites to ensure all equipment, furniture and building services are maintained to the highest possible standard.
- Reactive Maintenance: Build processes and network of contractors/suppliers, to ensure facility issues reported by GMs are resolved promptly and cost effectively.
- Inventory Management: Ensure effective tracking and stock level maintenance of furniture, amenities, and supplies.
- Supplier Management: Negotiating, managing & tracking all supplier relationships including Cleaning, HVAC, Audio/Video Tech & Networking.
- Compliance (H&S + Fire): Ensuring all buildings are safe and fully compliant with H&S and Fire requirements 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Legal: Responsible for ensuring our customer and vendor contracts are consistent and adhered to.
- Budget: Managing and optimising operating costs at a site level to achieve profitability goals.
- Digital Operations: Optimise use of digital platforms to find operational efficiencies and reduce staff time, particularly the member platform (Nexudus) and inbound email enquiries.
- Guides & SOPs: Designing and delivering operational guides, handbooks and SOPs across the business including how to guides to studio types, FOH operations, onboarding, customer service as well as for our booking platforms.
- Training & Development: Building training and onboarding processes for all on-site staff.
- Reporting: Develop and deliver timely, accurate and complete reporting & KPIs on site and company operating condition, both current and forecasting.
- Recruiting & Onboarding: Manage execution of the HR strategy. Design optimum org structure at a site level and work with the founding team on effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention.
- Expansion: Work with the founding team on the operational set up & hiring of each new site launch, making sure all processes are in place for a fluid and smooth opening process.
- New Product Launches: Researching and project managing new product launches e.g. new studio categories or equipment add-ons.
Experience & Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent.
- 4+ years working in a senior operating role, preferably within a highly competitive hospitality business, that's customer-oriented, focused on expansion, and a cost-driven environment.
- Preferably Members Clubs, Workspaces or Recording Studios.
