Description

Our client is actively seeking a Day Porter/ Concierge to join the team on a luxury apartment block based in East London. You will work alone on site, providing high levels of customer service to residents, carrying out front of house duties on the Concierge desk.

Hours: 4on 4off rota - 7am to 7pm

Salary: £21,000 - £24,000 per annum depending on experience

Duties to include:

  • The concierge member is expected to be flexible and undertake reasonable additional duties as required by the managing agent or the resident management company.
  • To report any defect, or health and safety concern to the managing agent.
  • To collate and oversee the daily management of records and logs relating to all aspects of the day to day running of the development.
  • To ensure that all contractors service books and health and safety logs are maintained and kept up to date.
  • To deal with administrative matters relating to the management of the Estate. To work closely in co-operation with the managing agent, keeping them well informed of events and issues, which affect the building. To provide written building reports to the managing agents on a weekly basis.
  • Meeting and greeting Residents, Visitors and Suppliers as well as Contractors
  • General inspection of areas and assuring tidiness throughout (including perimeter around the estate, e.g. picking litter off the pavement etc.)
  • Plant room inspections
  • Answering all incoming emails to the Building email address and efficiently following up (dealing with requests, logging defects into the system, responding to enquiries)
  • Main/First point of contact for Residents requests
  • Attending to small issues within communal areas
  • Liaising with the designated property Manager for any issues that arise
  • Walk around the building and completing checklists for visual inspection and in regards to Health and Safety in accordance with company standards
  • Collecting information from Residents and handling of sensitive information - discretion required
  • Responsible for overseeing the key contractor sign in/out process
  • Comply with all H&S requirements in place as per company standard and assist with reinforcement, daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly and annual checks and audits.
  • Assuring that the bin room is tidy and rotate bins
  • Professionalism, accountability, and integrity in all dealings
