PMR are are seeking a dynamic Leasing Manager for our client, a large, award winning developer within the BTR sector.
Working with teams across the business, as one of our Managers, you will ensure we meet our sales targets and renewal targets and ensure a seamless, exceptional customer journey from start to finish.Leading a team of Leasing Associates you will inspire and develop your team to deliver results through mentoring, coaching and creating a passionate can-do environment. Strategic thinking and possessing the commercial acumen to spot market trends and opportunities is a must.
Key Accountabilities:
- To manage your sales team, to contribute to and understand the business plan at a fundamental level;
- Build strong and enduring relationships, both internally and externally, and influence accordingly;
- Give market and performance feedback, make commercially astute business recommendations and have a handle of the progress and leasing status of the portfolio at all times;
- Work hand in hand with our Resident team to ensure every new arrival (viewing tour and move-in) has an exceptional experience;
- Lead, inspire and motivate your team to achieve success, ensuring each team member is developing to reach their potential;
- Have an in-depth knowledge of your apartment portfolio and availability, devise and implement strategies to ensure occupancy targets are achieved;
- Be commercially pro-active, dynamically promote and sell additional revenue generating services, review rents regularly and make business recommendations;
- Working closely with marketing, in regards to enquiries, leads and customer correspondence, be proactive in maximising all leasing opportunities;
- Be the champion of our customers. Consistently look at ways we can improve the customer experience and journey through customer feedback;
- Monitor performance and market trends, set tangible daily and weekly targets accordingly to achieve agreed business goals;
- Be a natural negotiator, be able to build rapport quickly and effectively and use sound judgement under pressure;
- Be a natural empathiser, quickly identify customer needs and be able to design customer focused solutions;
- Be adept at spotting process improvements quickly and implement those improvements. A champion of positive change;
- Ensure all reporting, lease administration, CRM systems etc. are updated and managed effectively.
- Ensure the business and Leasing team are compliant with UK regulations at all times.
General Accountabilities:
- Undertake additional relevant duties which fall under the general scope of the role, as directed by your Manager, raising any issues with capacity so they can be properly managed;
- Participate in the full year and half year Performance Development Review process as reviewer and reviewee, meeting the standards and timescales required by the Company;
- At all times ensure that your understanding and skill level regarding the Company's IT systems are up to date, as applicable to your role. Undertake IT training as required to ensure full and proper use of the available technology;
- Work within the Company's policies and procedures, governance framework and standards, as detailed on the Company's intranet;
- Remain knowledgeable about Group activities, benefiting from all forms of internal communication provided and acting as a positive ambassador for the Company at all times;
- Use materials and resources effectively and efficiently to minimise waste and consider the impact of potential actions on the environment before taking business decisions.
Qualifications/Experience/Skills:
- Passionate, dynamic, thorough and dedicated;
- Possess a natural ability to see the journey through the customer's eyes;
- Proven history in sales with demonstrable experience of increasing sales/revenue;
- Proven experience of team leadership/management and driving performance;
- A successful history of being a leader, mentor and coach;
- Able to identify, analyse and improving upon existing business processes;
- Excellent communication skills.
